Overview

Roshani Bulkunde is a Ph.D. Candidate in the School of Economics at Georgia Institute of Technology, currently on the 2025-26 job market. She is an applied microeconomist with research interests in Health and Development Economics. Her research focuses on maternal and infant health, as well as social health. Specifically, she studies how large-scale policies and economic conditions affect maternal and infant health outcomes. She also investigates the determinants and underlying mechanisms of social dimensions of health, including loneliness and social isolation. Before attending graduate school, she served as a Research Assistant at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. She holds a Master's degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University.
